“ Decided to visit this place because I'm in this area a lot. The atmosphere is so nice, love the vibe of the restaurant and the little details they put into their silverware etc! I ordered the peanut noodles, bun, chicken etc everything about it is so good! Their milk tea is so good as well! Definitely try everything! At last, the waiters are so nice and they make sure we are doing okay. The food also come out fast. Definitely would come back! ”
“ Surprisingly good soup dumplings in an area you wouldn't think would offer it. Both the crab and regular xlb were tasty, though the soup comes out pretty clear and mild tasting (maybe that's healthier?). The meat didn't taste stinky, but rather mild like the soup. The beef noodle soup was decent too, though Dumhuang in Edison is still the best in the area for beef noodle soup. I'm enjoying the diversification of north brunswick. Very up and coming area in regards to food. ”
“ I must say Wu's Shanghai Dumpling is one of best dumplings places around! I have been a fan of then for many years from since the Edison location. Now they opened a location closer to me in North Brunswick and it's amazing. This new NB location has a wide variety of delicious drinks too! I love the decor and did I mention their dumplings are excellent! I have had the pleasure of dinning in and getting take out and they didn't disappoint me at all. They also have a reward system so be sure to sign up for it because I can guarantee that you will return for more. ”
“ My family is named Wu and are originally from Shanghai, so this place gave me so much nostalgia! I was surprised to see so many Shanghainese dishes, as they're super hard to find in most places!! We ordered a large assortment of both the dim sum and entree dishes, and they were all really filling and tasty for the price! The interior is also very modern and upscale, and seating was plentiful. ”
“ I've been to the Edison location a few times. This is my first time at the North Brunswick location. This is a very nice location. Bright modern interior, fast & friendly uniformed staff. We had the Snow Crab & Pork Juicy Buns, Pork Juicy Buns, Shanghai Sticky Rice Shumai, Pork Wonton in Spicy P&B Sauce, Noodle w/Shanghai & Scallion Sauce, & Jasmine Green Tea. Everything was excellent, same as the other location. Worth the trip every single time! This will be my new go-to location. “ I was sadly shocked to see such low rating for this establishment. We really had a great experience when we visited for lunch today. Seated quickly, everything was clean, service was prompt and friendly. I love the little attention to details to enhance your experience... gold plating, mini bowls for your soup dumplings.... Food was beautifully presented. And the taste was very nice. LOVED my scallion fried noodles... perfectly al dente and the sauce was really flavorful.. crispy runny egg fell short because, well, the egg wasn't runny... but I love the idea of it. scallion pancakes were deliciously crispy and chewy.. my crab and pork juicy soup buns were perfectly soupy. I don't usually go for sweet drinks unless they are alcoholic, but I highly recommend the passion fruit lemon tea with or without "pop bubble". Oh and let it be noted that even after a really unfortunate accident where someone accidentally drove through the storefront window... they still kept working--didn't skip a beat--and with a smile. Will absolutely return, and probably with my LO, who is definitely a fan! ”
